We travel within this galaxy sorting out our thoughts & taking in the
view Another awakening as the racing heart of the breathless poet

beat & those memories I never seem to let go
Beneath this level of sheer emotion overwhelming me
& sending chills straight down my back As I Shut My Eyes I could
still see behind hidden doorways where secret words were
shared And those soft lips calling me closer & your touch which
made me melt to the very floor As I Shut My Eyes to the longing
& the solitude, what more could I ask for
Behind the closed eyes that saw the story unfolding,
understanding that true love can never end As I Shut My Eyes,
there are sounds that capture memory itself & tells a story of the
heart As I Shut My Eyes & wait for sleep & sweet dreams to give
me the peace I was promised Release the grip from the word
trapped inside & lead me back where I belong As I Shut My Eyes
to the story of adoration & the reason for this song
